From the cooking fire-place style kitchen before 1970s, ENEX has introduced stand-up kitchen in 1970s to Korea. Afterwards, ENEX research institute has played a main role in the process transformation of system kitchen in 80s, interior kitchen in 90s and human kitchen of ENEX concept in 21st century.

Having been extended and modified as a certified kitchen furniture research center for the first time in the industry in 1993, the ENEX R&D Center has strengthened its role. It has put its heart into the basic study based on the 7 wise which is the basis of ENEX design philosophy and in the product development of kitchen furniture, interior furniture, and devices.

With over the 20 R&D members, ENEX is committed to not only continuous expansion of investment but also analyzing the trend of design through attending various seminars and exhibitions worldwide. It is becoming an international kitchen furniture research institute by establishing design infrastructure through constant education and industry-academia cooperation.
